Introductory:

The WarriorRage KickBoxing Federation is a federation to the sport of the striking martial arts. KickBoxers, karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kungfu ...etc. are all welcome to participate. The competition will consist of continuous point sparing events, 3 - 2 minute rounds is the standard. Maybe longer rounds and up to as many as 5 rounds for a championship bout. Look in the Rules and weight class section for more info.  Rounds maybe less for younger competitors or first time participants. There is also team match up as well were we set up 5 man team competition. Must be 16 years old to compete in the team competition.

WRKF Chat: is a interactive forum which is

the leading source of events for amateur boxing,

boxing, kickboxing, karate, tae kwon do and MMA

events for the MidWest.

Book Sample: This is a sample of part of the first chapter of the "WarriorRage KickBoxing Volume II". I decided to go ahead and post this in here because of a lot of other forums and problems I've seen relating to injuries, shoulder problems and rehabbing different areas. This first chapter for the medicine ball routine is fairly light and maybe helpful in rehabbing your arm or shoulders as well as helping with keeping toned. With the rigorous training and consecutive jarring motion of a boxing and kick-boxing program, having a toning and strength training program may reduce injuries and hyperextensions.

Officials Training: The WRKF will conduct officials training throughout the year. This officials training covers Self-Defense, rules for continuous point sparing, team sparring, Muay Thai and MMA. This is being used to train WRKF officials and security personnel.  This would also be a good program for law enforcement, teachers, security for any programs including sports or for people working with troubled youth. As well as a addition to a martial arts class. AT any WRKF sanctioned event, there will usually be a open officials training session in that week or day of the event.

Note: The Bolingers Gym conducts this training program as a free self defense program, usually promoting safety awareness for a specific month. The past couple of years we've done this in April. This program helps gives people a different , less violent way of protecting ones self or others and gives a more professional way of handling issues if you work in a business that requires a standard way of defending ones self. It also gives back to the community, as well as bring possible new students to your gym. Getting people in the door is half the battle of a growing business. Get people in the door and word of mouth will grow your business very quickly.

I've trained fighters for over 25 years in several different styles of martial arts and boxing. And it doesn't matter if your the best in the state or best in the nation, there's always some punk that'll try and step up and test your skills. As a coach, I always strive to teach the kids to be the best, but, when it comes to the streets, striking someone is a last resort. You maybe defending yourself, but if its a issue that goes to courts, the courts may decide different. I teach the officials training program to the boxers, MMA guys and kickboxers to give them a alternative to striking someone to help keep them from getting into fights or getting hurt or help keep them out of jail or a juvenile detention center.
